DAUGHTER
A mother and daughter travel across Chile from south to north in search of a relative they’ve never met. The mother hopes to reunite with her sister, while the daughter sets out to find her real father. Over 2,000 kilometers of highway, both confront childhood expectations with a present that may be more uncertain and hostile than the fantasies that shaped their identities. A journey where lies become reality, and reality takes the form of a film — a documentary road movie based on imaginary events.
