THE VOLCANIC PENINSULA
This documentary captures the dreams and aspirations of four high school juniors. Two of them attend the industrial school in the San Joaquín district, where they’ve already begun training as textile technicians. Both have dreams—they want to study, work, start families, and get ahead. On the other hand, at the exclusive Saint George’s School, two students study under privileged conditions. They aim to become university professionals and grow through the pursuit of the arts. This is a portrait of two worlds, less than 20 kilometers apart, that only meet through audiovisual editing.
