When greenlighting an audiovisual project today, the cast’s follower count is considered just another variable. Given this scenario, the production company has decided to open a new branch in the digital content area: JUNTOS Elenco.
For Pancho Hervé, a partner at JUNTOS, this project stems from a raw diagnosis of the current state of global cinema. Platform executives demand digital traction, which can lead to mediocre casts that happen to have many followers.
“Our ‘rebellion’ is to ensure that the actors we admire gain relevance on social media using their own codes. We want to explore those languages to create work we can be proud of,” Pancho Hervé stated.
The project, backed by the 2025 Audiovisual Company Strengthening Line (MINCAP), seeks to reinforce and amplify the reach of actors and actresses JUNTOS works with. The goal goes beyond follower counts and social media trends; it is about using those platforms to tell stories with the same care applied to filmmaking.
“Confirming the launch of JUNTOS Elenco is excellent news. It is a project that will undoubtedly serve as a key articulating axis for much of our activity at the production company,” commented Manuel Madariaga, head of the Digital Content team.
María Gracia Omegna, a Chilean actress with an extensive audiovisual career, has officially joined JUNTOS Elenco after signing on for the cast of Reina Japonesa. She represents the JUNTOS thesis: real talent must own the conversation on social media.
This commitment will soon be strengthened with the addition of two other prominent names from the national scene to JUNTOS Elenco. This will allow for a deeper focus on providing social media content with the same narrative rigor found in our films.
The project represents a necessary evolution in managing cinematic visibility. By professionalizing the digital presence of actresses like María Gracia Omegna, JUNTOS Elenco solidifies itself as a strategic tool that not only boosts their careers but also strengthens the direct and authentic connection between our films and their audiences.
