The addition of Daniel Castell marks a new step for JUNTOS in consolidating its content strategy, through an alliance with Bandada, the creative lab the producer founded after nearly a decade at Fabula.

JUNTOS opens a new chapter with Castell’s arrival to lead its series division. In partnership with Bandada, the creative label he founded following ten years at Fábula, the company reinforces its commitment to producing both fiction and non-fiction content aimed at expanding its presence in the television ecosystem.

The goal is to strengthen JUNTOS’ position within Latin American and global streaming platforms, expanding a catalog already recognized internationally for its ability to entertain, move, and provoke reflection.

“For me, film and series are a way of living other lives, inhabiting realities that don’t belong to us, and transforming dreams into images. That’s the perspective I want to bring to this new stage at JUNTOS,” says Castell. After a strong career as a journalist, he transitioned to fiction from investigative reporting, convinced that “fiction needs reality in order to be nourished and built.”

Castell led Fabula’s television division for almost ten years, helping drive its international expansion with projects such as La Jauría and El Presidente (Amazon Prime Video), Baby Bandito and Homemade (Netflix), Midnight Family (Apple TV+), and the original audio series Quemar tu casa and Creepyhunters (Spotify). His experience positions him as a key figure in the development of internationally resonant IPs, always emphasizing collaboration with non-hegemonic voices and bold storytelling.

“In joining forces with JUNTOS, we can take these ideas even further, combining our creative strengths to build premium series from Latin America to the world. What drew me most was the healthy ambition and the talent of the team,” Castell adds.

For his part, JUNTOS cofounder Moisés Sepúlveda states: “This alliance marks the beginning of a new chapter for us, one where stories with local identity can shine on the global stage.”

The JUNTOS series division is currently developing a new slate of projects, including Culpables Inocentes, selected for the 2025 Iberseries Showrunners Workshop, along with original narratives exploring hybrid genres that blend drama, thriller, brightness, and dark comedy.

With Castell’s arrival, JUNTOS takes a decisive step in its expansion, strengthening its commitment to solid creative development and the pursuit of unique stories that connect with both local audiences and the global market.
